I was sculpting little butterflies using royal icing (which is made from powder sugar with a little bit of water), but the first time I tried, they were too fragile and didn't last long. This time I made the royal icing more stiffer, made the butterflies thicker, and now they have become beautiful sugar decorations for my next designer cake.
